Accepting these terms

By using Tunevate (the “Service”) you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What Tunevate is

Tunevate is a browser-based musical instrument and small production environment. It tracks your hands through your webcam and turns gestures into chords, drum patterns and loops. All camera, audio and hand-tracking processing happens on your own device. There is no account to create and nothing you make is stored on our servers.

Free, and provided “as is”

The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will work with every browser, device or webcam. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of work, or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Your content and your files

Anything you create with Tunevate is yours. The Service does not upload or keep your recordings, arrangements, or exported .tvate and audio files — they exist only in your browser and wherever you choose to save them on your own computer. Because your work is not stored on our servers, keeping your own backups of anything important is your responsibility.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to break the law or infringe someone else's rights, including copyright in any material you import or perform;
• attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or circumvent its rate limits;
• scrape, resell, or repackage the Service, or use automated means to access it beyond normal personal use.

Local storage

To let the studio pick up where you left off, Tunevate saves your workspace, recorded loops and preferences in your browser's local storage on your device only. You can clear it at any time from your browser or via Preferences. The privacy policy describes exactly what is stored.

Third-party services

Tunevate is hosted on Vercel, loads its hand-tracking model from Google's public model CDN and jsDelivr, and sends contact-form messages through Resend. Your use of the Service through these providers is also subject to their terms.

Intellectual property

The Tunevate name, interface, code and branding belong to their authors. These terms do not grant you any right to use them beyond running the Service as intended.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. If these terms change materially, the date at the top will be updated; continuing to use Tunevate after a change means you accept the revised terms.
